BIO
Bobby Ayala Perez is an actor, writer, director, and artist originally from Cleveland, Ohio. With a deep passion for performance, Bobby has dedicated his career to bringing compelling characters to life on stage and screen. He holds an M.F.A. in Acting from Indiana University and a B.A. in Performance from Cleveland State University. Alongside his work as a performer, Bobby shares his expertise as a teacher of acting, movement, and on-camera techniques, inspiring students to connect with their craft in meaningful ways. He has taught at Constellation Stage & Screen and Indiana University, where he currently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Acting.
ARTIST STATEMENT
My work is rooted in the belief that storytelling is a transformative force. As an actor, director, and educator, I explore the intersections of physicality, character, and narrative to inspire empathy and foster connection. Whether on stage, in film, or through visual art, my creative process celebrates diversity and encourages audiences and students alike to engage deeply with their craft and the world around them.
